Creative Arts exhibit returns to University Hospitals

Artwork from Hattie Larlham Creative Arts will once again adorn the University Hospitals Humphrey Atrium Gallery starting Aug. 30 and continuing until Oct. 7. This will be the art program’s fourth show sponsored by University Hospitals.

University Hospitals Art Curator Thomas Huck and his team like to showcase artwork from artists and organizations that explore creative ideas and have great inspiration behind the work. Huck was drawn to the exhibit because of the beautiful artwork created by artists with developmental disabilities. Creative Arts exhibits, like the one at University Hospitals, create awareness about what people with developmental disabilities can do.

A gallery reception will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the University Hospitals Humphrey Atrium Gallery. University Hospitals has supported the Creative Arts program since 2008.
